iFilm English TV to air finale for ‘Under the Blade’

iFilm English TV Channel has set to air the final episode for the series ‘Under the Blade’ on Thursday night, at 22 GMT.

The series directed by Mohammad-Reza Honarmand, is a social drama on a bitter accident that leads some families to misery.

Mahmoud’s daughter and Jafar’s son are about to get married with one another. Yet, Jafar’s older brother Qodrat strongly objects to their marriage, trying to persuade his brother to cancel this arrangement.

All at once, Mahmoud gets fired for alleged stealing from the factory he has been working in for 20 years. Facing criminal charges, Mahmoud hears a rumor that Qodrat has framed Mahmoud.

He talks to Jafar about it, but Jafar refuses to believe anything negative about his older brother. The whole situation leads to a tension between the fathers of the soon-to-be newlyweds.

The series cast list includes Kourosh Tahami, Negar Javaheriyan, Atila Pesyani, Ramin Rastad, Enayat Bakhshi, Parviz Parastouee, Siavash Tahmoures, Fatemeh Motamed-Arya, Shabnam Moqaddami, Fariba Jeddikar, Elham Hamidi, and Houshang Tavakkoli.

‘Under the Blade’, produced in 2006, will be replaced by the series ‘A Heart of Ice’ made by Masoud Rashidi.
